Biography
IGNATIUS JOHN MELITO, a founding partner of Melito & Adolfsen P.C., has been handling insurance coverage litigations and advising clients on insurance coverage matters for more than 30 years. His areas of expertise include additional insured coverage, contractual liability, notice and cooperation conditions, bad faith, personal and advertising injury, and construction defect claims under general liability policies. Matters handled by Mr. Melito and his firm have resulted in many significant court decisions determining the law in these areas. Mr. Melito also handles a variety of claims under professional liability, D&O, and E&O policies. He also has an extensive appellate practice and has handled hundreds of appeals in state and federal courts throughout the country.
